CRAFTSMANSHIP ON A DIFFERENT SCALE

CRAFTSMANSHIP ON A DIFFERENT SCALE

Created to commemorate some of Bentley’s most iconic cars, the scale models in the Bentley Collection capture more than just the spirit of the originals. They capture every detail.

The models have been created in a range of sizes, from 1:64 up to 1:18. They include various vehicles from the Bentley range, including some iconic track cars as well as their roadgoing siblings.

A RANGE OF ICONIC GRAND TOURERS

Of all the cars Bentley has built in the modern era, the Continental GT has come to represent the pinnacle of grand touring. Scale models of this iconic car are available that showcase both the convertible and coupé body types.

Available in striking St James Red, the Continental GT is represented in a 1:64 die-cast metal replica measuring 77mm x 31mm. Despite its size, the attention to detail on the models is impressive, featuring authentic wheel designs, plus rubber wheels and rubber side mirrors for protection.

The Continental GT is a car with influence far beyond the road, and the 1:64 scale model range includes some of its most successful motorsport incarnations. The Bathurst Continental GT3 is based on the race car that that won the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12-hour race in 2020. Also available is the Continental GT that broke the production car record at Pikes Peak in 2019, while rounding off this trio of historic racers is the car that competed in the famous GP Ice Race the following year.

THINKING BIGGER

Larger models are available too, including a detailed 1:43 model of the roadgoing Continental GT, finished in eye-catching Khamun with the Blackline Specification. Crafted in resin to minimise weight while maximising scratch-resistance, this 112mm model is mounted on a stylish Bentley-branded plinth and presented in a protective Bentley box. For lovers of the convertible, a 1:43 model is available with an Onyx exterior and a Beluga and Hotspur interior.

The largest model in the collection is a 1:18 replica of the Continental GT Convertible finished in Kingfisher Blue. Equipped with the Blackline Specification, it features black 21" five tri-spoke alloy wheels. The attention to detail is remarkable, with doors that can be opened to reveal a Beluga and Porpoise interior in Bentley colour split E, plus an opening bonnet and carpeted boot.

A REVOLUTIONARY SUV

When Bentley launched its SUV in 2015, it changed the automotive world. The fastest and most powerful production SUV ever created, it was the first true luxury SUV. Since then, the Bentayga has cemented its reputation as one of the most desirable cars on the planet. Two 1:43 scale models are available, both reflecting the striking design of the Bentayga V8. Crafted in resin with colour-matched paint, these models can be ordered in a choice of Moroccan Blue or Alpine Green, both equipped with the Blackline Specification.

THE MOMENT THE FUTURE BEGAN

Looking back at Bentley’s past concept cars can offer a tantalising glimpse at what might have been. Revealed at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2017, the EXP-12 Speed 6e was Bentley’s vision for an all-electric, two-seater sports car. Named according to the ‘EXP’ system W.O. Bentley introduced for his prototypes back in 1919, its sleek lines were inspired by aircraft fuselages and the geometry of the natural world. Now, you can see them replicated perfectly in a 1:43 scale model.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS

Any one of these models would make a wonderful desktop ornament – whether for you or anyone else you know with a passion for cars. Whatever your age, one thing is for certain: with a Bentley Collection scale model in your possession, you need never be far from a Bentley.
