The Finest Quality
Combining exceptional elegance and quality with practicality, this versatile handbag is sculpted from the finest calf leather and features beautiful hand cross-stitching, echoing Bentley's subtle styling lines. Featuring diamond-quilted linen lamb nappa leather to the interior, giving a luxurious feel inside and out.
Crafted in Italy
Tuscany is renowned as a world centre of quality leather production and has been for centuries. Multiple tanneries evolved along the mighty River Arno, mainly between Florence and Pisa, taking advantage of the water supply needed for preserving, dyeing and transforming the hides into beautiful leather. This traditional process continues today by highly skilled artisans, with the leather then being cut, fitted, sewn and stitched in traditional ‘pelletterie’, trusted workshops that manage the crafting of beautiful handbags.
Handcrafted Luxury
Taking over 15 and 20 hours to create and typically using up to 2 metres of leather and using perfectly fitted handbag frames, each handbag has incredible attention to detail. The incredible hand-craftsmanship can also be seen by the cross-stitching detail, which is all executed by hand to precise artistry, much like the stitching found within the interiors of Bentley cars.
Committing to the highest standards of Bentley luxury, the leather is produced to the art of Italian craftsmanship, bearing a hallmark of unsurpassed quality.
Mary P
Named after the Bentley Girl Mary Petre Bruce; a record-breaking motorist, speedboat racer and aviator in the 1920s and 1930s. Mary Petre was extremely competitive, entering the Monte Carlo Rally in 1927 and finishing sixth overall, covering 1700 miles in 72 hours without sleep. Still determined, the following year she came second in the Rally and over the upcoming years, her and her husband the Honourable Victor Bruce, set multiple long distance records up to 15,000 miles.
